Popular hobby in America, Amateur Radio - often called ham radio - experienced a decline in the 10 to 15 years. But it seems the tone plateauing. In fact, there has been renewed interest in Amateur Radio recently. Many new hams get a new call involving public service. That's good news for the hobby, and even good news for the nation.
